We’re not in this for the money. We want to get you or your loved one on the road to recovery.

Drug Rehab Worcestershire

Drug addiction can affect every part of an individual’s life, from health and relationships to work, finances and mental wellbeing. Often, what begins as occasional use slowly develops into dependency.

Our drug rehab is built around the needs of the individual. We support people to understand the causes and consequences of addiction while providing structured treatment that may include a medically monitored detox, therapy, relapse prevention and recovery planning.

We don’t aim to just stop drug use, we want to provide people with the necessary tools and support to maintain change long-term. Recovery is more sustainable when treatment is practical, personalised and consistent.

Our Process

  • 1. Initial Pre-Admission Visit

At ESH Community, we encourage all potential residents and families to attend a free no obligation pre-admission visit. This visit is relaxed and informal, giving the individual and families the chance to meet the team, ask questions, and learn more about our detox and rehabilitation programme.

A pre-admission visit also helps people feel more comfortable by seeing the environment, understanding daily routines, and gaining clarity on what residential rehab involves. Many find this step reassuring and helpful when deciding on the right treatment option.

To book a pre-admission visit or speak to a member of the team, contact us via our website, Whatsapp or call 01926 811702.

  • 2. Medically Monitored Detox

When a resident arrives at ESH Community, their treatment begins with a medically monitored detox. This process is overseen by our specialist addiction psychiatrist, who completes a full assessment before prescribing an individual detox plan tailored to the resident’s needs.

A typical detox lasts around 7–8 days, although this may vary depending on the substance involved and the person’s health history. Throughout this period, our trained staff provide 24/7 monitoring, reassurance, and practical support to ensure safety and comfort at every stage.

Our focus is to make detox as calm, dignified, and manageable as possible, creating a stable foundation for the therapeutic rehabilitation work that follows.

  • 3. Residential Rehabilitation Program

Once detox is complete, residents begin a structured rehabilitation programme designed to support emotional, psychological, and physical recovery. Each resident receives two one-to-one counselling sessions per week with an accredited BACP counsellor, alongside daily therapeutic group sessions. These sessions help individuals explore the underlying causes of addiction, including thinking patterns, behaviours, and emotional triggers.

In the evenings, residents attend local AA/NA fellowship meetings to build early connections within the recovery community and begin developing long-term peer support networks.

This structured approach helps rebuild routine, purpose, and accountability — elements often disrupted during active addiction — while supporting long-term, sustainable recovery.

  • 4. Holistic Therapies and Activities

Alongside therapeutic work, residents also take part in gentle physical and wellbeing activities designed to improve both physical and emotional health. These include yoga, tai chi, personal training sessions, and countryside walks — all helping to restore routine, confidence, and motivation.

Each week, residents also take part in our dedicated “Spiritual Day”, where they are introduced to meditation, breathwork, and acupuncture. These activities support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and help individuals reconnect with themselves in a calm and grounded way.

This holistic approach complements the therapeutic programme and supports the development of healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried into long-term recovery.

  • 5. Family Awareness and Guidance

Family involvement begins from the very first point of contact. Addiction affects not only the individual, but the wider family system — and in many cases, it is family members who reach out to us first. From that moment, we offer guidance, reassurance, and information to help families understand the recovery process for the individual and what to expect.

As the resident approaches the end of their placement, we arrange a dedicated family call involving the key people in their life. This conversation focuses on preparing for life after rehab, setting healthy boundaries, managing expectations, and understanding how best to support a loved one in early recovery.

Our relationship with families does not end when the resident leaves, we remain available for ongoing awareness and guidance helping both the resident and their family to continue building stability, trust, and long-term recovery together.

  • 6. Aftercare and Ongoing Support

Aftercare is a core part of the support we provide at ESH Community. Every resident receives two follow-up counselling sessions after leaving the programme to help with the transition back into day-to-day life and maintain the progress made during treatment.

We also run a weekly Tuesday evening aftercare group at the rehab, open to all former residents. This provides a safe space to return, reconnect, and receive continued support. These sessions are extremely valuable not only for those attending, but also for current residents, who benefit from hearing the experiences of people who have been exactly where they are now.

In addition, past residents can request further one-to-one support if needed, ensuring nobody feels alone in their recovery journey. Our team also remains available by phone 24/7 should someone require guidance, reassurance, or help during difficult moments.

Our aftercare programme helps build long-term stability, confidence, and connection — supporting recovery well beyond the time spent in treatment.

Recovery Success

“Recovery is not about perfection. It is about making progress, building confidence and learning how to live differently one step at a time”

People often start recovery unsure if change is really possible. The difference is made by having the right environment, the right support and a plan that is realistic rather than overwhelming.

At ESH Community, recovery success is built through steady progress. Some people may begin with completing a medically monitored detox, while others start by recognising the habits, triggers or emotional pressures keeping addiction in place.

For Worcestershire residents seeking help, a structured rehab can offer the confidence and support necessary to move from crisis to long-term change.

Addiction Support

Addiction support is about supporting people to manage shame, stress, isolation, damaged relationships and the emotional weight that comes with addiction.

“People often need reassurance, structure and a place where they can talk honestly before they feel ready to change. This is an important part of recovery too.”

At ESH Community, our addiction support services are designed to help people understand their situation and make healthier routines. Support can include therapy, practical recovery guidance, help with cravings and strategies to manage triggers.

This support is essential in recovery, especially the early stages, when emotions are intense and change is uncertain. The right support can make the process much less isolating.

Addiction Aftercare

Aftercare is vital, it enables people to stay supported once the main treatment phase is over. Aftercare offers continuity, accountability and guidance right at the point that everyday pressures return.

At ESH Community, our addiction aftercare can include:

  • Follow-up support after rehab
  • Relapse prevention planning
  • Recovery check-ins
  • Help with triggers and high-risk situations
  • Ongoing guidance as routines and responsible return

A good aftercare plan means people can protect the progress they made in treatment, as well as providing them with a way to respond if they struggle again.

For straightforward information about pricing, call us for an informal, no-obligation chat with the team.
We understand the need for affordable drug and alcohol rehab, which is why we keep our prices competitive.

Family Support

Addiction doesn’t just affect the individual, it also affects the families. It can cause stress, conflict, uncertainty and emotional strain, especially when loved ones are unsure how to help.

At ESH, we offer family support to help relatives understand addiction and healthy ways to respond. This can include guidance on communication, boundaries, emotional wellbeing and how to support recovery without sacrificing your own needs.

When families are involved appropriately, they can strengthen recovery. It is important to remember that support for relatives is just as important as support for the person in treatment.

Medically Monitored Detox

Often, medically monitored detox is the first step in the process of recovery. This is particularly important when alcohol or drug dependence has created physical withdrawal symptoms or when suddenly stopping may be dangerous.

Our medically monitored detox is designed to help people withdraw as safely and comfortably as possible. We ensure that the individual has support through this process by supervising it.

Detox alone is often not enough to maintain recovery, it offers the foundation for further rehab and therapy. Once the body is stable, the individual is in a better place to begin deeper recovery work.

Detox & Rehab Packages at ESH Community

At ESH Community, we provide safe, structured, and person-centred detox and rehabilitation programmes for individuals seeking help with alcohol addiction, drug dependence, and other substance-related issues. Our approach combines medically monitored detox, therapeutic support, and a calm countryside environment — creating the ideal setting for residents to begin their recovery.

As a small, male-only residential rehab centre in Warwickshire, we typically support around six residents at a time. This allows us to offer highly personalised care, with staff who get to know each resident individually. Our experienced team work closely with each person to manage withdrawals safely, understand the emotional and behavioural causes of addiction, and develop practical tools for long-term recovery.

If you are looking for a private rehab that provides safe detoxification, structured therapy, and ongoing aftercare, ESH Community offers a supportive, focused environment tailored to early recovery.
